Abbie Dixon is a mostly self taught jeweller based in Co. Down, Northern Ireland. Her inspiration comes from nature -she is especially interested in textures, patterns and natural formations. Her work explores her love of forest and woodland, where she is intrigued by the unconventional beauty of gnarled branches and the curious little growths of lichen and fungi. She loves things as they naturally occur, raw, wild and unprocessed.

Her jewellery collection has an organic and semi abstract quality. Abbie experiment with many processes and materials to create her jewellery compositions. These little sculptures are handcrafted in jewellers wax, and cast in precious metal by the lost wax technique. They become wearable pieces using traditional silversmithing, and some are set with natural gemstones.
