Lisa Robson is a ceramic maker and researcher who designs and makes ceramic seed pods for audience engagement. Evidence suggests that haptic participation with objects improves understanding of craftsmanship and enriches our well-being. The aim of her research is to make and design an exhibition and framework where an audience can engage with ceramic objects in a museum or gallery setting.

 

 

Materials and processes used: the seeds inside the vessel are made of slip cast porcelain; the vessel is thrown porcelain.
