Sandra Kerr’s artistic practice is a reflection of her past and present self, intertwining ceramics and stitched textiles to explore identity, memory, and healing. By repurposing previously studied textiles and working with clay, she creates works that echo the layers of personal history and transformation.
Art serves as her form of therapy – a space to process and mend, both physically and emotionally, where each stitch and sculpted form becomes a meditative act of self-discovery and connection. For Sandra, this is ‘Me. Here. Now.’

Belfast-based artist Sandra Kerr Gordon has exhibited her work in Belfast, London, and Dublin. She regularly hosts art workshops with community groups, children, and individuals with disabilities, and brings over 10 years of experience teaching in further education.
