Large Scale Blown Glass Vessels set in twists sand casts

£1,700.00

In her current work, Helen Hancock continues to pursue her own development as a glass artist, seeking to increase the visibility of the female experience. Helen makes glass that transforms experiences of trauma into objects of healing, with a particular focus on women’s experiences and motherhood.

Her art is not about just her, it is a conversation between her and other women. She takes moments, thoughts and experiences that are usually hidden behind closed doors, too taboo to discuss even with close friends, and immortalises them in glass.
