Artist Bio
Louisa McCartney is a jewellery designer based in Belfast, who blends the art of silver clay and traditional silversmithing to create unique, handcrafted pieces.
A passion for Northern Irish history and heritage influences much of Louisa’s work. She enjoys weaving elements of our rich cultural and historical narrative into her jewellery, creating everyday pieces that connect the wearer to where we are from. In addition to her creative work, Louisa shares her skills by teaching silver clay jewellery-making in private and community settings. She has held workshops in various locations, including East Belfast, Portadown, and Newtownards, inspiring others to explore the joys of this unique material.
