‘IRISH CRAFT HEROES’

50 MAKERS X 50 YEARS

Craft NI are delighted to partner with the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland and Belfast International Arts Festival who have brought this unique exhibition, the Irish Craft Heroes outdoor panel trail, to Belfast Botanic Gardens, showing until November 7th. The outdoor exhibition will introduce you to some of the most influential makers on the island of Ireland, as nominated by the public and then selected as part of the 50th anniversary of the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland.

To accompany the outdoor trail, Craft NI is very pleased to be able to show this capsule exhibition of work from the Northern Ireland-based Heroes. We hope you’ll enjoy the opportunity to see their stunning work up close, a perfect complement to the outdoor exhibition in Botanic Gardens.

Makers: Seliena Coyle, Jack Doherty, Sara Flynn, Bob Johnston, Alison Lowry, Michael McCrory, Peter Meanley and Cara Murphy.
