‘Eclipse’ ring

£6,200.00

For this exhibition, Natasha submitted a pair of minimal, sculptural designs driven by geometry, symbolism, and astronomy, the ‘Eclipse’ ring and the ‘Gravitation’ brooch. The pair work in harmony bound together by the theme of action and reaction. Flowing and spiralling first in one direction and then the other.

The ‘Eclipse’ ring signifies action – it flows outwards around a central black glittering Druzy. A tail of pave set diamonds float and trail; a row of black diamonds continue after a solitary white. Framed by a looping expanding motion with a length of ombre gold, this ring is the result of hours of bench time exploring alloys and colours of gold. It displays an ombré colour change from rose through blush, yellow and green 18ct gold. A sculptural ring to frame the hand, designed to sit between and over the fingers.

Viewed together, the works hint at open/close, cause/effect, space/time, action/reaction.
