Rosie is a Jewellery and Resin Artist based in Northern Ireland. Her work has a predominantly geometric style and feel focusing on angles and the light refracting capabilities of prisms. She loves playing with colour and is inspired by the rainbow that lies hidden within light, revealing itself only when placed in the perfect way to show its magic.
Materials used for creating this ring are silver, resin, acrylic embeds, glitter, alcohol ink, resin pigment. Processes: resin was mixed and poured into a silicone mould and left to cure, then hand-carved using a bandsaw and sander, hand sanded and then buffed on a polishing wheel; silver was cut with a piercing saw and filed, soldered and then polished.
